OOTD--DERBY EDITION!--26 January 2014-1

My life was derby last week, so no other outfits to post.  I love derby as a chance to practice Halloween all through the year!  But I've been pretty reserved so far--even though I love the crazy outfits and makeup and tutus...I want to be able to move and hit, so I keep it pretty minimal during bouts.  We were the Greek Goddesses, and here's what I wore!

OOTD--21 January 2014 minus one

Yesterday was another trip to Shimoda mall, so I made more of an effort than normal.  I liked it!

Earrings--I can't remember for sure, but they're probably Express
Bracelets--I was going for a lot of them, but I hate bangles.  So I looped an Express multi-chain necklace around my wrist, with my 3 wedding bracelets from Etsy.
Boots--Shoedazzle!  I finally took a picture of them.
Earlier in the day I was also wearing this headband from Korea, but took it off because I had a headache:

This outfit was again, just to hang out with the girls.  There's a lot of that lately, since the Hazu (slang for husband in Japanese) is in the USA.

Another standard skinny pants-longish top with layers uniform of winter.  I tried to toughen it up a bit but not sure how it went..

I put on some regular clothes thinking we might have a girls' dinner date after my Japanese class...but we all kinda forgot about it til the last minute and didn't go.  Here's what I would have worn for you ladies!  It's not that impressive though.

Saturday was my favorite Yogi's baby shower!  Kendall is an absolute doll, so I was so excited for her shower.  I wanted to dress up a tad, without going overboard.  I wasn't sure it would work, but I was happy with the outcome...

I added this because I was so proud of my hair!

I wore these with knee-high boots that I still need to take a picture of.  I considered heels...but these days 90% of all our roads and sidewalks are covered in ice and packed snow....I decided not to chance it!

No, I will not type 201X unless I absolutely have to.  And since I went to lunch with the ladies today, I decided to put real clothes on for a bit.  

You like that mask, don't you?  It's very Japanese of me.  In reality I have a cold sore that's just easier to cover with this rather than makeup.

There's not been a whole lotta activity on here...been doing a lot of snowboarding and sweats-wearing!  Or wearing the same outfits over again, or figuring out outfits that needed to go in the "sell" pile.  But of course New Year's was a chance to dress up.  Since we were with a big group of people, I didn't take an individual shot, because I'm kinda shy like that.  But here's a few that I'm in....
