Yes, OutfitS, plural. This is rare kids.
Outfit #1 is a non-standard as well. Today was the Officer's Spouses Club's Holiday Tea, and our theme was Alice in Wonderland. Backstory before you see the dress: this summer I was doing a little shopping at one of the Japanese resale shops and found this dress. The print is tea cups and saucers, and it was only 2000 yen (roughly $25ish), so I knew I had to have it for the tea. It didn't zip past mid-back because my ribcage is too wide, but I figured I could make it work one way or another. Fast forward to about two weeks ago when I realize I should probably get that thing altered and take it into a local alterations shop. She doesn't really speak English, I barely speak Japanese, but I walk outta there pretty sure I know what's going on...two weeks later, I pick up this beauty, and it fits gorgeously. She said "Impossible!"...but apparently it was not!
The rest of the outfit rundown: the tights are Alice in Wonderland print and I got them and the fascinator at my favorite Japanese accessory store. The jewelry I believe I got from Kohl's on a trip to America, and I have zero idea what website I bought those shoes off of! My Red Queen counterpart is Karolina and she's wicked creative. We totally didn't mean to play Red Queen White Queen, but apparently we did! We collaborate well together.
Outfit #2 was on for a max of one hour tonight. Then I gave up and put sweatpants on.
